The Greenwing Legacy Interpretive Centre is a wetland education centre within the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park in Nova Scotia, built by Ducks Unlimited Canada in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources, and various businesses and private individuals to teach Maritimers about the importance of wetlands.
The centre offers educational programming, and features interactive displays on wetlands and wildlife, wheelchair-accessible trails around the back ponds, and a longer 1.5-km trail ending at St. Andrew’s Marsh. Come explore the wetlands, and meet some of the creatures who live here. We love wetlands and love to teach you about them too!
We’re open May 15th to October 15th from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit us this summer, and learn why wetlands are vital habitat for waterfowl, wildlife, and for us! And book programs year-round!
